These aren’t your grandmother’s
watercolors

My story

It all begins with time spent outside. From whitewater rafting, open-water ocean swimming, or hiking. Wherever I can get fresh air and a fresh perspective.

That inspiration follows me home, where I sit down with my watercolor paints to capture the the subtle nuances of light, color, and atmosphere in the landscapes I paint.

My passion for painting began in childhood, evolving into a lifelong journey that marries my love for nature with artistic expression. Each piece reflects my personal experience and connection to the place I love the most, whether it be the mountains and rivers of Colorado, or the crashing waves of the Jersey Shore. My goal is to evoke a sense of peace and appreciation for the beauty of nature in each viewer. Through my art, I hope to share the joy and inspiration I find in the world outside.

Painted with care

Everywhere I go, I bring paper and paints. And if I forget, a bar napkin works in a pinch. Drawing has always felt like it captured the moment in a way that photos never could.

A woman wearing a floral dress, sunglasses, and a straw hat is standing on a beach. She is holding an open sketchbook with a watercolor painting of a lighthouse, which matches the lighthouse visible in the background. There are houses and trees in the distance under a clear blue sky.
